Ready to showcase your Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay in cinematic 4K60? Whether you're streaming your latest speedrun or capturing for YouTube, Game Capture 4K S makes it simple. With full 4K60 capture, high frame rate support, and near-zero latency, it’s built to keep up with everything the new Switch can throw at it.
Here’s how to set it up in minutes.
Want to go live on Twitch, YouTube, or anywhere else? OBS Studio pairs perfectly with Game Capture 4K S.
Here’s how to set it up:
Once set up, you can stream Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay in up to 4K60 quality, and with ultra-low latency, just how your audience likes it.
When your Nintendo Switch 2 is docked and connected to Game Capture 4K S, game audio is transmitted through HDMI. so you’ll hear and capture everything by default. However, if you plug a headset into the Switch while docked, it can reroute audio away from the capture card, resulting in silent recordings.
To keep your audio flowing, we recommend plugging your headphones directly into your computer instead. You can monitor game sound in Elgato Studio or OBS Studio using their built-in preview features, with minimal latency. This way, you get clear, synced game audio in both your headphones and your recording, no audio dropout, no split signals.
Want one-tap control over your recording and streaming production? Connect a Stream Deck and assign Elgato Studio or OBS Studio actions to your keys. Go live, mute, or switch scenes without leaving the game.
You can download the plugins by visiting Elgato Marketplace:
Now you’re ready to record or stream Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay in stunning 4K60. Whether you're showcasing new titles, capturing reviews, or just flexing your skills, Game Capture 4K S keeps your content sharp, smooth, and ready to share.
