With Key Light Air MK.2, you can go from box to lit desk in a few short steps. This guide walks through mounting the light, connecting power, and setting it up in Elgato Control Center, so you’re ready to adjust it from the panel, your desktop, Wi-Fi, or Stream Deck.
- Key Light Air MK.2
- A power source: a USB-C port on your computer, a PD-compatible power adapter, or a PD-compatible power bank
- The included desk mount, or your own ¼-inch mounting setup
- A phone or computer to run Control Center
- Bluetooth enabled on your phone or computer, if you plan to connect over Wi-Fi
Key Light Air MK.2 has touch controls on the front panel and connections on the back.
Front panel: Fav 1 button, Fav 2 button, – button (decrease), + button (increase)
Back and frame: USB-C port, power button (in the frame), Wi-Fi status LED (blue), MagSafe-compatible magnet ring, reset hole, ¼"-20 thread mounting points (×3)
- Position the clamp on the edge of your desk. Tighten the clamp screw to secure it. The clamp fits surfaces up to 6 cm (2.35 in) thick.
- Insert the pole into the clamp base.
- Attach Key Light Air MK.2 to the top of the pole using the ¼-inch thread.
- Slide the pole to your preferred height. The mount extends from 60 cm to 88 cm (23.6 in to 34.7 in).
- Tilt and rotate the panel to aim the light at your subject.
Key Light Air MK.2 is powered by USB-C Power Delivery. No power adapter is included in the box.
- Connect the USB-C cable to the port on the back of Key Light Air MK.2.
- Connect the other end to a USB-C port on your computer, a PD-compatible power adapter (sold separately), or a PD-compatible power bank.
- Press the power button on the frame to turn on the light.
A power source rated 30 W or higher is required for maximum brightness (2100 lumens). Brightness scales with available wattage.
Download Elgato Control Center to adjust Key Light Air MK.2 from your computer or mobile device.
- Visit elgato.com/s/downloads.
- Download and install Control Center.
- Open Control Center. Key Light Air MK.2 appears automatically when connected via USB-C.
Four capacitive buttons on the front panel adjust brightness and color temperature or recall presets.
- Tap – or + to adjust brightness.
- Tap – and + at the same time to switch to color temperature (2900–7000 K). Tap both again to switch back.
- Tap Fav 1 or Fav 2 to recall a saved preset. Hold either button for 3 seconds to save the current settings to it.
- Open Control Center on your computer.
- Key Light Air MK.2 appears in the device list.
- Adjust brightness (10–100%) and color temperature (2900–7000 K) using the sliders.
Wi-Fi control lets you adjust Key Light Air MK.2 from a phone, tablet, or computer on the same network.
Requirements: a device with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity running Windows 11 (64-bit), macOS 13, iPadOS 12, iOS 13, or Android 6.0 or newer.
- Open Control Center on your mobile device.
- Select Add new light.
- Follow the on-screen Bluetooth pairing instructions to connect Key Light Air MK.2 to your Wi-Fi network.
Bluetooth must remain enabled on your phone during initial Wi-Fi setup.
Take hands-on control of Key Light Air MK.2 using any Stream Deck. Get the Control Center plugin to adjust brightness and color temperature from a key press.

Sold separately:
- Focus Grid: magnetic grid diffusor that narrows the light beam. Ideal for portraits where the surrounding area should stay dark.
- P30 Power Supply: USB-C power adapter (30 W) for full 2100-lumen brightness output.
- Locate the reset hole on the back of Key Light Air MK.2.
- Insert a pin into the reset hole.
- Hold until the Wi-Fi status LED flashes to confirm the reset is complete.
