While Cam Link can capture any HDMI input, it’s best to verify your camera’s compatibility. Below you’ll find a list of cameras that we, and creators like you, have tested.
Want to run your own compatibility test? Watch this video to find out how.
What is clean HDMI output?
Clean HDMI output refers to footage that excludes overlays such as recording time, remaining storage space, focus point, and more. If these overlays cannot be deactivated, Cam Link will capture them. As such, when using Cam Link, a camera with a clean HDMI output (no overlays) is recommended.
What is Unlimited Runtime?
Unlimited Runtime refers to a camera’s ability to function for as long as it is powered on. Many DSLR cameras shut down after a certain period to preserve battery power. Therefore, for optimum use with Cam Link, a camera with unlimited runtime (that won’t shut down automatically) is recommended.
