Marketing Specialist, Japan

General Purpose: The Social Media and Community Specialist will play an important role in our brand’s online presence and community engagement. This position involves managing our X platform, producing content, monitoring and curating user-generated content (UGC), and assisting in localizing marketing materials. Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations: Social Media Management: Manage, produce, and publish content while engaging with the community on social media platforms. Develop and maintain a social media calendar that aligns with our brand and resonates with the local audience. Content Production: Create engaging short-form videos and educational content to enhance brand visibility and understanding of product features. Influencer and Partnership Support: Assist in identifying creator collaborations, handling product seeding, and managing administrative tasks and reporting. User-Generated Content (UGC) Management: Actively monitor social media and online communities to identify and curate UGC that can be repurposed across various consumer touchpoints to enhance brand authenticity. Market Analysis and Monitoring: Continuously track market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to inform and refine your social media strategy. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our social media and community efforts forward-thinking. Essential Skills and Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Native-level Japanese and good English proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the global marketing team.
