Plugins are one of the fastest ways to add new actions and integrations to Stream Deck. This guide walks you through finding and installing them.
A Stream Deck plugin adds extra actions you can place on your layout and configure inside Stream Deck software.
For example, a plugin can let you control the volume of individual apps, arrange windows on your desktop, connect Stream Deck to software such as Discord, OBS, Photoshop, or development tools, and more.
Stream Deck Plugins are in Elgato Marketplace. You can access Marketplace in two ways:
Once Marketplace is open, choose Stream Deck and then Plugins. From there, you can search for a plugin or narrow results with filters such as OS, Type, and Dial Support.
Focus on a few details in the listing:
Before you start, make sure you are using Stream Deck 6.4 or newer and have a Marketplace account.
3. Back in Stream Deck software, find the plugin in the Action List and drag an action onto a key. If the listing supports dials, you can add a dial action on supported devices, such as GALLEON 100 SD, Stream Deck +, or Stream Deck + XL.
We have multiple guides to help you decide on what plugins to install:
Open Elgato Marketplace, pick one plugin that matches your workflow, and install it. Starting with a single plugin is the easiest way to see how much more Stream Deck offers.
