How to get more plugins for Stream Deck

Plugins are one of the fastest ways to add new actions and integrations to Stream Deck. This guide walks you through finding and installing them.

A Stream Deck plugin adds extra actions you can place on your layout and configure inside Stream Deck software.

For example, a plugin can let you control the volume of individual apps, arrange windows on your desktop, connect Stream Deck to software such as Discord, OBS, Photoshop, or development tools, and more.

Stream Deck Plugins are in Elgato Marketplace. You can access Marketplace in two ways:

1. Open Marketplace from Stream Deck software by clicking the colorful Marketplace icon at the top of the window
2. Directly open https://marketplace.elgato.com/ in your browser.

Once Marketplace is open, choose Stream Deck and then Plugins. From there, you can search for a plugin or narrow results with filters such as OS, Type, and Dial Support.

Focus on a few details in the listing:

• OS support: Make sure the plugin supports your operating system.
• Compatibility: Check the minimum Stream Deck version listed.
• Dial support: Not every plugin supports dials, so confirm that on the listing if you want dial actions.
• Version and update history: Look at Version and What’s new? to see how recently the plugin was updated.
• Support details: Review the listing and support information before installing if you expect extra setup in another app or service.

1. Open Marketplace from Stream Deck software or in your browser, or click on the Plugins tab on the top right inside Stream Deck software and find a plugin listing.
2. Select Get, or add the plugin to your cart and complete checkout if needed, then choose Open in Stream Deck. Approve the browser prompt to open Stream Deck software.

3. Back in Stream Deck software, find the plugin in the Action List and drag an action onto a key. If the listing supports dials, you can add a dial action on supported devices, such as GALLEON 100 SD, Stream Deck +, or Stream Deck + XL.
