Knowing what you do now, is there anything you would change looking back at your first stream?
There are SO many things I would change! I made all the mistakes streamers do. I joined every "stream team", I shamelessly plugged my channel, I focussed more on numbers than content, and the list goes on. The thing that ties all of that together is that I was just always focusing too hard on hitting the next goal. In my opinion, content creation is really a "tortoise and the hare" kind of thing. If you rush it, your content will suffer, you won't have time to build a quality community, and you'll burn out. Just slow down a bit, take it all in, and enjoy the ride. What do you like most about Elgato?
This is a super easy question to answer. When I was a kid, my grandfather told me not to waste my money on cheap stuff and to instead save a bit longer and buy quality items that will last and that I can count on. Elgato is just that – quality. I can always count on my Elgato gear to perform the way I expect it to. I still use my first Stream Deck that I bought when they launched in 2017 on a daily basis and it still works without a hitch.
