Paid Media Manager

You will be working in our Marketing team where you will be responsible for the planning, set up, optimization, and reporting of social media advertising campaigns across channels and multiple accounts. The role is a blend of hands-on and strategic, with a key emphasis on creative paid social campaigns, and requires previous experience in creating and managing paid media plans that are optimized to hit key digital targets and campaign goals.

What you’ll be working on:
  • Lead the implementation of a global paid strategy & roadmap for Twitter, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google, leveraging audiences, creative & tech to deliver campaigns across various social platforms, utilizing data-driven decision-making and optimization of campaign performance.
  • Be responsible for the portfolio of in-house social campaigns spanning multiple markets, and languages, from conception to execution, optimizing & reporting including insights and budget planning and management.
  • Take planning briefs from various teams. Develop and present paid media plans across all channels, highlighting a strong understanding of different social media platforms and their advertising capabilities, and articulate your thinking behind channel and audience choices.
  • Provide a full-funnel framework from Brand, Demand to Conversion Retention across all key platforms, utilizing tracking and reporting on campaign performance and using insights to inform future strategies.
  • Work with the brand, creative, social, partnerships and marketing teams to support the activation process, staying up to date on industry trends and developments to ensure campaigns are innovative and effective, and closely aligning campaigns with overall business objectives.
What we’re looking for:
  • Fluent in English. German and/or other European languages are a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience (2yrs+) in social media planning and buying.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics across paid media channels incl. SEO, email, owned and earned media, and the role of paid media in the wider marketing mix.
  • Understanding of the importance of a full-funnel measurement framework.
  • Working knowledge of social media advertising platforms: Twitter, Meta, YouTube, Google, TikTok, and affiliates.
  • Hands-on experience with Google & Meta Ads Manager (or other DSP) and bid management tools. 
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics and data visualization tools with experience in setting up /managing reporting dashboards and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of media pixels /tracking setup with strong troubleshooting skills and overall familiarity with AdTech.
  • Strong ability to interpret data to measure campaign impact and effectiveness, identify actionable insights, and align cross-functional teams around the insight.
  • Results-driven with a strong ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations, and action plans that drive high ROI.
  • Strong numerical skills and can articulate key takeaways to management.
  • An analytical mind – the ability to spot trends, and identify key insights and recommendations.
  • Multi-tasking skills – the ability to manage time and resources across a wide range of projects.
  • Passionate about using data to understand customers and increase conversion rates across channels.
Also a plus:
  • Previous E2E experience of creative/copy testing with first experience in formulating testing roadmaps, ad copy creation, creative briefing of visual assets in line with industry best practices, and results analysis.
  • Knowledge of paid media CRO best practices and experience in supporting CRO experimentation using paid channels.
