Requirements

This update requires a Mac equipped with a Thunderbolt™-port and an internal or external SuperDrive. If you don’t have access to a setup meeting these criteria, please contact Elgato Technical Support via http://support.elgato.com.

Before applying this firmware update, please make sure you have a backup of all your data that is stored on the Elgato Thunderbolt™ SSD. Elgato can assume no responsibility for your data.

Please do not disconnect the Elgato Thunderbolt™ SSD or manually shut down your Mac during the firmware update procedure. If you experience any problem with updating your firmware, please contact Elgato Technical Support via http://support.elgato.com.
