Stream Deck Mini

This is a bit of tough one as my show basically runs on Elgato, but the Stream Deck is the one item I could not do my show without. From complex multi actions to controlling multiple live cartoon characters at once and across multiple PCs, the Stream Deck is not just the one Elgato item, but the one piece of equipment overall, that I could not do my show without.

4K60 Pro
Capture 4K HDR. Flawlessly.
4K60 Pro

A close second for my favourite Elgato product is the 4K60 Pro MK.2. The ability to capture 4K content from my consoles and gaming PC at 60fps, or capture 1080p content from my gaming PC at up to 240fps is amazing! I have been using Elgato capture cards for over 5 years and just like the ones I've used before, the 4K60 Pro MK.2 has never let me down. Just like every streamer, I have tech problems from time to time, but my Elgato capture cards just work.

Knowing what you do now, is there anything you would change looking back at your first stream?
There are SO many things I would change! I made all the mistakes streamers do. I joined every "stream team", I shamelessly plugged my channel, I focussed more on numbers than content, and the list goes on. The thing that ties all of that together is that I was just always focusing too hard on hitting the next goal. In my opinion, content creation is really a "tortoise and the hare" kind of thing. If you rush it, your content will suffer, you won't have time to build a quality community, and you'll burn out. Just slow down a bit, take it all in, and enjoy the ride.

What do you like most about Elgato?
This is a super easy question to answer. When I was a kid, my grandfather told me not to waste my money on cheap stuff and to instead save a bit longer and buy quality items that will last and that I can count on. Elgato is just that – quality. I can always count on my Elgato gear to perform the way I expect it to. I still use my first Stream Deck that I bought when they launched in 2017 on a daily basis and it still works without a hitch.
