New EyeTV for DTT (INT)

The smallest TV stick for the Mac: New EyeTV for DTT can be controlled using a Full Screen Menu and works with Apple Remote

Munich, July 12, 2006 - Elgato's EyeTV for DTT is now available for 99.95 Euro (VAT included). The TV receiver is a USB stick with an aluminum finish that is the perfect companion for the MacBook and MacBook Pro as well as all desktop Macs. EyeTV for DTT is the first Elgato product that works with Apple Remote and offers a familiar Front Row style user interface with a Full Screen Menu.

EyeTV for DTT features the very latest in tuner technology and chipsets which enable an extremely small enclosure. Despite its small size, the unit provides an antenna port for standard coaxial plugs which means that no adaptor is required.

EyeTV for DTT works with the popular Apple Remote, enabling the user to navigate through EyeTV's new Full Screen Menu with the Apple Remote's six buttons. Alternatively, an optional EyeTV infrared Remote can be used, or for Macs with Bluetooth a suitable mobile telephone (requires Salling Clicker software - not included in package).
