EyeTV Common Interface expands EyeTV solutions to receive PayTV programming
Elgato ships USB 2.0 Interface for CAMs, Viaccess module bundled
Munich, May 20, 2007 – EyeTV Common Interface is a USB 2.0 Interface for DVB Conditional Access Modules (CAMs), enabling owners of an EyeTV solution to receive and decrypt PayTV programming. EyeTV CI has a clean, aluminium design and is immediately and exclusively available in Sweden. A Viaccess CAM is included.
Together with a PayTV subscription smartcard (sold seperately) and the included Viaccess CAM, EyeTV users can expand their DVB-T solutions to receive premium programming such as sports highlights, blockbuster movies, and all the latest TV shows.
EyeTV detects EyeTV Common Interface automatically. Power for the interface as well as the CAM is supplied by the USB 2.0 bus.

EyeTV Common Interface is available immediately for 1.399 Swedish Krona incl. VAT in the Elgato Online Store and in retail outlets. The box includes EyeTV Common Interface, a Viaccess CAM, a Quick Start Guide and a USB cable.
