Elgato Systems Extends Relationship with Ingram Micro
Distribution of Elgato’s Products Now In the United States, UK and Germany
Santa Ana/London/San Francisco, November 17, 2005 – Elgato Systems today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM), the world’s largest technology distributor, that will broaden Elgato products availability to Macintosh-focused solution providers in the United States and in the United Kingdom. The distributor has an existing relationship with Elgato in Germany, where it has sold the manufacturer’s Mac TV tuning and recording products since June 2004.
Recent product rollouts of the iPod Video and Front Row support Elgato's market strategy around digital media convergence. Elgato's product line includes the EyeTV for DTT, EyeTV 200 FireWire digital TV recorder, the low-cost EyeTV EZ, the EyeTV 500 HDTV digital recorder and EyeHome digital media player. Elgato’s products allow end users to record, edit or share TV recordings, movies, photos and music with the entertainment devices in your home.
