MUNICH, Germany – May 27, 2004 – Elgato Systems, a leader in digital entertainment products for the Macintosh computer, is proud to announce that its EyeTV product line has received the Editor's Choice award for "Best Consumer Hardware" at the Macworld UK Award ceremony. EyeTV is setting the standard for state-of-the-art digital video recording. Users can conveniently watch, record, timeshift, edit and archive high-quality analog and digital TV shows on their Mac.

Macworld UK (www.macworld.co.uk), an established authority on the hottest new products for the Mac community, selected the winning products according to their excellence, innovation and usefulness for Mac users at work and at play. In announcing the award, Macworld cited: "Watching TV on the Mac has been possible for years, but this is the first product to make it work so well. The quality is amazing, as is the ability to program recordings from any Web browser, wherever you are."

"We are delighted to have EyeTV so well recognized by the editors of Macworld UK magazine," says Geier. "This further reinforces the positive response from industry and consumers we've been receiving since the product was first released."

The EyeTV product line includes EyeTV (USB), EyeTV 200 (FireWire), EyeTV 300 (DVB-S) and EyeTV 400 (DVB-T). EyeTV is available to US customers at elgato's online store and at select retail outlets in the US and internationally.
