Camera Hub 2.1 adds support for our newly released Facecam 4K, and introduces Nintendo Switch 2 compatibility for Facecam Neo, Facecam MK.2, and Facecam 4K. Also included in this update are quality-of-life improvements across LUTs, backgrounds, and Prompter.
โ ๏ธ Important Note: Camera Hub 2.1 now requires macOS 13.3 or later.
Launching with Camera Hub 2.1, Facecam 4K is our most powerful webcam yetโdelivering uncompressed 4K60 video, full manual control, and cinematic effects. It also supports industry-standard 49 mm lens filters, so you can shape light, control reflections, or add creative flair just like on a DSLR.
Facecam 4K, Facecam MK.2, and Facecam Neo are now all compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. Just update your firmware and youโre good to go.
Pro Tip: Be sure to save your settings in Camera Hub so they carry over when using your camera with Switch 2.
With the latest firmware installed, Facecam MK.2 now supports Tint adjustments, giving you more control over your video color.
Camera Hub now shows more detail when hovering over a LUT, including a larger visual preview, LUT name, description, and author. The default intensity is now set to 50% for a more balanced starting point.
Now you can import several at once, whether from your own collection or Marketplace, making it not only easier but also quicker to add new looks to Camera Hub.
You can now control Prompter display settings directly in Camera Hub.
