EyeTV Hybrid gets a diminutive new enclosure, Windows 7 compatibility

San Francisco, March 9, 2010 – Elgato announces America's smallest TV tuner stick. The next generation of EyeTV Hybrid introduces an ultra-compact enclosure in a matte aluminium finish. The TV tuner stick comes with EyeTV 3 software for Mac and a driver for Windows 7 Media Center. The price of the new version of EyeTV Hybrid remains the same at $149.95 USD.

EyeTV One delivers digital TV and HDTV channels straight to a Mac or PC, enabling users to watch and record the huge variety of TV shows that are broadcast over-the-air for free. The new EyeTV One offers an uncomplicated way to connect a computer to a DTV antenna and at just $119.95 USD, it’s an affordable alternative for an HDTV and full-featured DVR.

With Elgato’s new EyeTV Live3G web app, you can watch live TV and EyeTV recordings anywhere. The web app connects your iPhone to your Mac at home. It uses state-of-the-art HTTP Live Streaming technology to deliver high quality video streams without sacrificing battery life. The Live3G web app is available immediately at live3g.eyetv.com, and is part of EyeTV 3.3, a free update for EyeTV 3 users. The web app complements Elgato's recently introduced EyeTV app for the iPhone, which delivers live TV to an iPhone over a Wi-Fi connection.

San Francisco/Munich, September 29, 2009 – Elgato has released the EyeTV app for iPhone and iPod touch, available starting today on the App Store. With the EyeTV app, EyeTV users can watch live TV and recordings on an iPhone and browse the detailed program guide. They can also use the iPhone to start recording TV shows back home on a Mac immediately, or to schedule them to record later. The EyeTV app connects to any Mac running the latest version of Elgato's award-winning TV software, EyeTV 3.2, and can automatically find a Mac on the local network using Bonjour. The EyeTV app can also find and access a remote Mac via "My EyeTV", a free locator utility introduced today as part of EyeTV 3.2.

San Francisco/Munich, May 8, 2009 – Elgato presents Elgato Video Capture, a complete and easy-to-use solution for transferring analog video - including home movies on VHS tape -  to a Mac, iPhone and iPod. Elgato Video Capture connects VCRs, set top boxes, camcorders, DVD players, and other analog video sources to the Mac via USB 2.0. The included software records video in the H.264 or MPEG-4 formats that are native to iTunes.
