Javascript Developer (Contract - San Francisco, USA)

Elgato Systems, developer of award winning EyeTV and Turbo.264 HD products, is looking for a Javascript savvy developer for our new customer support and knowledge base system. 

You know node.js and how it fits into both SQL and NOSQL databases and are a skilled frontend developer.

You are looking for a project that will keep you busy and excited throughout the coming months.

You can work from home, but are available to see us in our office for a coffee and a chat about once a week.

Web Developer (full time - San Francisco, USA)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Fluency in HTML5 and CSS
  • Strong experience delivering products using a MVC web application framework
  • Added bonus for experience with JavaScript, MySQL, Linux administration

Previous professional experience from working with a dynamic mid-size company are an advantage but not an essential requirement. You have a methodical and structured approach to work, a strong team spirit and good interpersonal and social skills. Software Engineer (full time - San Francisco, USA)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience shipping Mac or iOS products
  • Knowledge of Objective-C with Cocoa/Cocoa touch
  • Strong C++ experience is a plus
  • User-interface programming experience

Software Engineer (full time - Munich, Germany)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • University degree in computer science or equivalent training with work experience
  • Strong C++ experience is beneficial
  • Knowledge of Objective-C with Cocoa/Cocoa touch
  • Unix experience is an advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written knowledge of German and English. A further language is an asset.

Engineer, Sr. Device Driver Systems (San Francisco, USA)

Desired Skills & Experience

Debug, maintain and enhance a large codebase of mixed C++, Objective-C and C code for embedded devices for video capture and compression in corresponding OS X PCI  drivers and analyze and debug existing manufacturer sample Windows drivers.  Prepare and execute test plans for device driver systems.  Identify documentation requirements and prepare technical documentation.  Req. MSCS or equivalent degree, plus at least 1 year experience in the job offered or related occupation, including experience with development of OS X PCI drivers in C++ for video capture and compression.
