EyeTV 2 must already be installed or you must purchase the software in order to use these updates. Please note that the license keys for older 1.8.x versions will not work with EyeTV 2 updates.



What's new in EyeTV 2.5.3?

Bug Fixes

Improved VHF reception for Australia EyeTV users.

Resolved a problem where EyeTV would hang or crash when recording from the live buffer with the original EyeTV USB.

Fixed an issue where the Manual Schedule calendar would disappear on systems running Leopard.

Fixed a problem with the EyeTV 250 Plus that caused a "Device could no be initialized" error when using the AV Inputs.


EyeTV 2.5.3 is a Universal application. It requires a Macintosh computer with PowerPC G4 (500MHz or faster), PowerPC G5 or Intel Core processor, and Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or later.

We recommend Mac OS X 10.5.1 Leopard with all software and security updates installed.
