Simply download the free EyeTV Mobile app (available on the App Store) to your iPad or iPhone 4S and connect the ultra-compact TV tuner to the dock connector port. Open the app, pick a channel, and start watching. That’s all there is to it. EyeTV Mobile can even receive DVB radio transmissions!

Take a break

Distractions? No problem. Pause the movie or TV show and rewind back to the part you missed. You can timeshift live television on your iPad or iPhone 4S.

Record TV

Is the show you started watching worth saving? No problem. With EyeTV Mobile, you can record TV shows directly to your iPad or iPhone 4S and watch them later. With iOS 5 and our free update (available in the App Store), this even works when the EyeTV Mobile app is in the background.

See what’s on at a glance

The integrated EPG offers you detailed information on TV shows up to seven days in advance (where available). You can email or tweet the details directly from the guide to your friends or print them using an AirPrint-enabled printer. You get all the program details that are broadcast within the DVB-T stream.

Since the television signal comes from the attached telescopic aerial, you won’t need an internet connection nor a Wi-Fi hotspot to watch TV. EyeTV Mobile never touches your data plan.

Built-in browser

With the built-in browser, you can now watch TV and surf the web at the same time, all on the screen of your iPad. Simply hold your iPad in portrait mode – you can even resize the browser window to see more of the web or your favorite TV show.

Teletext

For the first time, teletext is now available on your iPad. If teletext is broadcast in your area, you can use EyeTV Mobile to display subtitles or the latest news with a simple tap.

EyeTV Mobile is a DVB-T TV tuner designed to fit the dock connector. EyeTV Mobile’s superior reception quality isn’t just down to its latest tuner technology, but also thanks to its ingenious aerial design. EyeTV Mobile has been specifically developed to deliver the best possible reception both on the move and at home. What’s more, it’s the only tuner of its type that can be used with different aerials: the telescopic aerial can be positioned at any angle and boasts the best-possible reception regardless of location, plus the user can opt for the freely positionable rod aerial for indoor use or in places with poor reception. At the same time, proven MCX connector technology ensures the best possible signal quality and prevents the TV tuner or iPad from getting damaged due to the aerial being knocked or tugged out.

Please note: EyeTV Mobile works great on iPad 2, the new iPad (3rd generation) and iPhone 4S. Other devices such as the original iPad (1st generation) and the iPhone 4 are not supported, except in Japan.
