EyeTV 310 enables you to receive unencrypted DVB-S television and DVB radio broadcasts on your Mac. EyeTV 310 also has an integrated CI slot for digital satellite PayTV.

EyeTV 310 supports DVB-S multilingual programming, Teletext and Dolby® Digital sound. With EyeTV 310 you can receive both standard television and high definition TV (HDTV).

PayTV

To receive PayTV on EyeTV 310, all you need is a compatible combination of Conditional Access Module (CAM) and a PayTV subscription SmartCard. Please check with your PayTV provider to ensure that it supports third-party standard CI receivers. A few providers, such as BSkyB in the UK, do not. Learn more






Satellite Features

EyeTV 310 supports the DiSEqC 1.0 and MiniDiSEqC (Tone Burst) protocols and can hence control up to 4 LNBs. It works with standard universal LNBs with basic specifications of:
  • Low band 9.75GHz L.O. with 22kHz off
  • High band 10.60GHz L.O. with 22kHz on

Installing EyeTV 310 couldn’t be easier. Simply connect your DVB-S co-axial cable to EyeTV 310, and then connect EyeTV 310’s FireWire cable to your Mac. Finally, insert the EyeTV 3 software disk into your Mac and follow the simple instructions. You’ll be enjoying DVB-S television on your Mac in just minutes.

EyeTV 310 has one quality setting, Lossless. The DVB stream is recorded unal-tered, and so you’re getting the full quality MPEG-2 file as encoded by the broadcaster.






Available in select countries where Digital Satellite Television (DVB-S) is broadcast. The latest model EyeTV 310 is capable of decrypting DVB-S2 as well as DVB-S signals.

  • 720p or 1080i HD features require an Intel Core 2 Duo processor
  • A CD/DVD recorder and Toast Titanium software (not included) are required to create DVDs, SVCDs or Video CDs (optional)
  • Satellite dish with digital or universal LNB (not included)
  • For PayTV, a CAM (Conditional Access Module) and a subscription from your desired service provider are required
