Edit your recordings
Use EyeTV’s built-in Editor to remove unwanted content from your recording, or to crop the beginning and end of the show. The Editor also enables you to create one or more short clips from a longer recording and save the clips individually as new EyeTV recordings. If you’re in a hurry, simply export video clips straight to your iPhone or iPad without saving them first.
Archive your collection
EyeTV is seamlessly integrated with Roxio Toast® Basic and Toast® Titanium (not included). To burn a DVD, simply select the recordings in EyeTV and click the Toast button – that’s all there is to it. You can also create a perfect back-up by dragging the recordings you’d like to backup from EyeTV directly into Toast’s data panel. Toast will span the data across multiple discs if necessary.
Export to all important file formats
EyeTV enables you to export your recordings for post-processing in other Mac applications and professional video editing software, such as iMovie® HD, iDVD®, or DVD Studio Pro®. It offers a large variety of intelligent presets which selects the optimum export format for you, or you can chose the settings yourself. EyeTV also includes support for Sony PSP and other current media types & playback devices.
Turbo.264 HD Integration
EyeTV is fully integrated with Elgato’s Turbo.264 HD video encoder hardware, and uses it as a co-processor to speed up H.264 and iTunes exports without taxing your system resources. Simply plug in Turbo.264 HD before you export for iPhone, iPod, iPad or Apple TV formats, and before you prepare your EyeTV recordings for iPhone access.
