The EyeTV Mobile app, available for free in the App Store, now supports background recording, offers a built-in browser in portrait mode and displays teletext if broadcast.

It enables Netstream users to watch, pause, rewind/fast-forward and record live TV on their iOS device. The app also features a 7-day programme guide with a recommendation function. Thanks to built-in UPnP and Bonjour support, setup is extremely simple. The free EyeTV Netstream app is available now from the App Store.

The integrated EPG lets users view up to seven days of detailed programme guide information and send recommendations to friends by email.
