Free Software Update: Version 1.3

21.05.08 - Elgato released version 1.3 of the Turbo.264 software today as a free update. The update includes many new features for YouTube users as well as owners of Apple devices such as video-enabled iPods, the iPhone, and Apple TV.

Turbo.264 can now encode video to formats compatible with YouTube and upload directly from Turbo.264 to a YouTube account. Navigating within Turbo.264-encoded movies is now easier for users of Apple devices thanks to Turbo.264's support for DVD chapter markers. The updated software also preserves Dolby Digital audio for playback on a multi-channel audio sound system connected to Apple TV. Furthermore, this update to Turbo.264 version 1.3 supports QuickTime Broadcaster.
