Software Version of Turbo.264 HD now available
Today we released a software edition of Turbo.264 HD, our popular video converter that gives users the ability to instantly crop and preview HD camcorder clips without converting them first, and supports nearly any kind of video source format. Turbo.264 HD uses advanced encoding technology to convert any video file to a very high-quality iPhone- and iPad-compatible format.
Turbo.264 HD now comes in two versions: As software, or together with a hardware accelerator to boost the speed of exports on even the fastest Macs.

Vuvuzela Filter
June 24, 2010 - A special edition of EyeTV 3.4 software is available during the 2010 FIFA World Cup that offers a new feature called the "Vuvuzela Filter". This filter gives you the option to dampen the buzz of vuvuzela horns in the stadium during live TV broadcasts; it can be quickly switched on and off at any time during the game. To use the filter, control click to bring up the contextual menu in EyeTV.

The Vuvuzela Filter is available in EyeTV for a limited time only, and will disappear with the next software update – after the 2010 FIFA World Cup is over.

EyeTV 3.4 - Free Software Update for Live or Recorded TV on Apple’s iPad
Munich / San Francisco, CA - May 24, 2010 - Today, Elgato released EyeTV 3.4, a free software update for all EyeTV 3 users, which adds optimized support for playback on iPad. The new version features one-click export of recorded television shows, automatically creating HD video files optimized for superb quality playback on the iPad’s high resolution screen. EyeTV 3.4 also includes support for streaming of live TV to the iPad using the EyeTV app for iPhone/iPad, which will be available on the iTunes App Store in the near future.
